YNBA has a variety of summer camps to meet your training needs.

Girls Rep Prep with Gad 10-13 years old
GIRLS REP PREP WITH GAD - AGES 10-13
Run by the YNBA Technical Director, Gad Perlmutter, this camp is a specialization camp emphasizing all aspects of shooting in basketball. This girls-only clinic is where players go to become all-around better players in an informative and fun environment. Understanding that basketball is more than just shooting, camp attendees work on team concepts regarding movement, game situation decision-making, and one-on-one moves.

Mondays - May 5 to June 9, 6-8 pm at Newmarket High School - no class May 19th for Victoria Day
Mondays - June 16 to July 14, 6-7:15 pm at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex (MURC) in Keswick (Woodbine and Ravenshoe, just off the 404)
Kids must bring their own ball.
Elite Rep Prep Camp - Ages 10-16
ELITE REP PREP CAMP - AGES 10-16
Run by Gad Perlmutter, our Technical Director, this half day camp is where good players become great, teaching them unique and informative skills in a fun environment. Understanding basketball is much more than just shooting, while at camp participants work on team concepts in regards to movement, game situation, decision making, and one-on-one moves

YNBA Girls Rep Summer Training
This program is designed for female identifying athletes that already have rep level basketball experience. Athletes will participate in weekly activities to improve their fitness, ball handling, shooting, finishing and defensive skills. Furthermore, athletes will develop a greater understanding of basketball strategy to help them excel at the next level. Each participant will be given a weekly training plan to improve their fitness level and their basketball skills.
Designed and coached by Darryl Hope, a health and physical education specialist at Newmarket High School. Coach Darryl has facilitated several learn to play and rep prep programs over the past few years while also coaching at N.H.S. and in the community.
Cost: $300.00
8 Weeks
Tuesdays July 8-August 26, 7-9 pm at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex (MURC) in Keswick
Boys Rep Prep with Pat 9-17 years old
This program run by our Assistant Technical Director, Patrick Au is designed for athletes wanting to sharpen their existing skills and to get ready for the upcoming season. Athletes will work on their fitness, ball handling, shooting, finishing as well as decision making, team concepts and one on one play.
Athletes must bring their own ball.
Jr YNBA Camp - Ages 4-8
JR YNBA CAMP - AGES 4-8
Our camp director, Alessandro runs our Jr YNBA programs and is a Highschool Teacher. Coach Rachel is post secondary student who has coached and worked with the YNBA for 6 years, and Coach Ryan coaches for our Saturday Jr YNBA program and plays for our YNBA Avengers Rep team.
Fees: TBD - Full Day Monday to Friday 9 - 4pm - - payment plans available for this camp 🙂
The program will include a shirt for each player

We are waiting to hear back from the permits department to ensure we have secure facilities and the weeks we will have. Once the gym is secure, we will update the weeks and open registration.

YNBA BASKETBALL 2025 SUMMER CAMP - Newmarket
Location: Clearmeadow PS
Stay healthy and active this summer with YNBA Basketball. The Towns of Newmarket has partnered with the not-for-profit organization, YNBA, to run skills and drills all in a 'fun' filled atmosphere! Take your game to the next level! Campers will participate in outdoor activities daily, unless there is inclement weather. For more information visit www.newmarket.ca/camps

YNBA BASKETBALL 2025 SUMMER CAMP - Aurora
Location: AFLC Healthy Planet Gymnasium
Enjoy a week of basketball excitement, where each day will feature multiple player challenges, fun games, skill development and scrimmage opportunities. The last day will feature a number of special events and a tournament. Players must bring a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle daily.
